Job summary

Mazer Appliance in Avondale, a small family business serving the Birmingham, AL area, is seeking associates with mechanical aptitude and appliance repair experience. You must be able to move up to 300 lbs using a hand truck, and EPA license is a plus but not required.

Pay ranges from $20 to $22 per hour depending on experience. Duties include swapping refrigerator doors, installing ice makers, testing and prepping appliances for resale, unloading trucks, and using our mobile app to photograph

Responsibilities

• Swapping refrigerator doors and attaching handles.
• Installing ice makers in top freezer refrigerators.
• Testing the functionality of truckloads of scratch & dent appliances before resale.
• Detailed cleaning scratch & dent appliances before resale
• Help unload truckloads of appliances and loadout customer purchases
• Use Mazer's mobile app to: Photograph appliances and upload to our website
• Print price labels and inventory tags
