Job summary

Fox Run Village by Erickson Senior Living in Novi, Michigan, is seeking an Appliance Mechanic to perform corrective and preventive maintenance for appliances in residential apartments and laundry rooms, plus ice machines and refrigeration equipment. You will help ensure residents have a safe and comfortable living environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial/residential appliance maintenance.
• Must possess current EPA certification to handle refrigerants.
• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Willing to work scheduled and on-call overtime as necessary.

Join our team as an Appliance Mechanic, where you will handle corrective and preventive maintenance for all appliances in residential apartments and laundry rooms, as well as ice machines and refrigeration equipment, both residential and commercial. Your work will ensure residents have a safe and comfortable living environment.

How you will make an impact

• Perform necessary maintenance of all appliances contained in residential apartments and laundry rooms
• Perform necessary maintenance of Health Care laundry equipment
• Perform necessary maintenance of all ice machines and refrigeration equipment, both residential and commercial
• Respond to emergency calls for system and equipment failures

What you will need

• Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 35 pounds
