Job summary

Temco Logistics is expanding in Newark, NJ, seeking motivated individuals for full-time box truck delivery and appliance installation roles. You will load, deliver, and install a variety of appliances while ensuring safety protocols and accurate records.

The role emphasizes customer service, use of GPS tools, and successful completion of pre- and post-trip inspections. Full training provided; we value safety, reliability, and growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Ability to lift/pull/push/load/unload/move 100+ lbs. using proper equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and DOT physical.
• Valid Driver’s License with for-hire endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 26 ft box truck for local multi-stop delivery routes.
• Load, deliver, and install household appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, cooktops).
• Safely handle equipment using dollies, lifting straps, and handheld tools.
• Connect basic water lines, valves, and electrical components.
• Use mobile devices to confirm deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to homeowners, builders, and clients.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and follow all safety protocols.

What You’ll Do:

• Operate a 26 ft box truck for local multi-stop delivery routes.
• Load, deliver, and install household appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, cooktops, etc.).
• Safely handle equipment using dollies, lifting straps, and handheld tools.

What You Bring:

• MUST be 21+ years of age
• Ability to lift/pull/push/load/unload/move 100+ lbs. using proper equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfort with GPS navigation and smartphone apps.
• Experience driving box trucks or delivery vehicles (preferred).
• Familiarity with appliance installation tools and basic plumbing/electrical (a plus!).
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and DOT physical.
• Valid Driver's License with current for hire endorsement
