Job summary

Temco Logistics is seeking motivated individuals for local appliance delivery and installation roles in San Jose, CA. You will operate a 26 ft box truck on multi-stop routes, loading, delivering, and installing various home appliances while ensuring safety and accuracy of records.

The ideal candidates have a valid driver's license, strong customer service skills, the ability to lift 100+ lbs, and comfort with GPS apps. Training is provided, and company benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Driver's license required and clean record.
• Ability to lift 100+ lbs with proper equipment.
• Customer-focused with good communication.
• Familiar with GPS navigation and phones.
• Experience with box trucks is preferred.
• Basic appliance installation familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

• Operate a 26 ft box truck for local multi-stop delivery routes.
• Load, deliver, and install household appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, cooktops, etc.).
• Safely handle equipment using dollies, lifting straps, and handheld tools.
• Connect basic water lines, valves, and electrical components.
• Use mobile devices to confirm deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to homeowners, builders, and clients.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and follow all safety protocols.

What You Bring

• MUST be 21+ years of age
• Ability to lift/pull/push/load/unload/move 100+ lbs. using proper equipment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfort with GPS navigation and smartphone apps.
• Experience driving box trucks or delivery vehicles (preferred).
• Familiarity with appliance installation tools and basic plumbing/electrical (a plus!).
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and DOT physical.
• Valid Driver's License with current for hire endorsement
