Job summary

Temco Logistics in Elizabeth, NJ is seeking delivery technicians to operate a 26 ft box truck, load, deliver and install appliances for local multi-stop routes.

Ideal candidates are 21+, able to lift 100+ lbs, with a clean driving record and ability to pass a DOT physical. You’ll provide excellent customer service and use mobile apps to document deliveries. Temco offers paid training, uniforms, PPE, medical/dental/vision, and 401(k) matching.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Able to lift/pull/push/load/unload 100+ lbs.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfort with GPS navigation and smartphone apps.
• Experience driving box trucks or delivery vehicles preferred.
• Familiarity with appliance installation tools and basic plumbing/electrical a plus.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and DOT physical.
• Valid Driver's License with for hire endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 26 ft box truck for local multi-stop delivery routes.
• Load, deliver, and install household appliances (washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, ranges, cooktops, etc.).
• Safely handle equipment using dollies, lifting straps, and handheld tools.
• Connect basic water lines, valves, and electrical components.
• Use mobile devices to confirm deliveries and maintain accurate records.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to homeowners, builders, and clients.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and follow all safety protocols.

What You’ll Do

• Operate a 26 ft box truck for local multi-stop delivery routes.
