Job summary

Lane's Appliance is seeking an Appliance Installer to join our installation team. The role involves hands-on installation of gas and electric appliances, including refrigerators, dishwashers, ovens, ranges, microwaves, ice makers, washers and dryers, with a strong emphasis on safe, high-quality customer service.

Starting at a competitive hourly rate, you will work directly with customers in their homes, communicate clearly, and maintain accurate records while ensuring installations meet

Qualifications

• Experience installing appliances is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Solid technical and mechanical skills, experience with appliance installation preferred.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, and maintenance.
• Proficient with hand tools.
• Able to move and handle heavy objects every single day.
• Desire to work directly with customers in their homes; educating them on the use of their appliances.
• Communicate clearly, appropriately, and concisely in verbal and written formats.

Responsibilities

• Ability to safely move large appliances
• Installation of appliances which may require some electrical or plumbing knowledge
• Clearly, concisely and respectfully communicate with customers and co-workers
• Efficiently and accurately complete all paperwork required
• Maintain vehicle; perform daily inspections; maintain inventory of required supplies and tools with no losses; keep clean, organized, and secure at all times
• Adhere to manufacturer recommendations
• Teach homeowners how to operate their appliances
• Maintain accurate and detailed records
