Job summary

Van's Home Center is seeking an Appliance Installer to handle installation and setup of built-in appliances. You will work on plumbing and electrical connections, ensuring installations meet quality standards while protecting customer property.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, able to manage time to meet deadlines, and can communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and coworkers. Must be able to lift heavy items and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License with a clean record.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must pass both a drug and a criminal background check.
• Must possess a basic understanding of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
• Must be experienced and comfortable working with hand and power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Install built in home appliances and equipment.
• Connect appliances to existing plumbing and electrical services.
• Ensure completion of installation in a manner that does not damage product or customer's property.
• Represent our company in a manner that conveys professionalism and excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as needed including cross-training in related positions.
