Job summary

Ritchietrucking is seeking a Delivery Associate/Installer in California to deliver and install appliances, ensuring safety and compliance with all laws. You will inspect vehicles daily, document services, and communicate clearly with customers to resolve installation issues.

Responsibilities include operating a two-axle delivery truck, using carts to move appliances, and ensuring billings and signatures are accurate.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED.
• Twelve months or more related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the completed delivery and installation of appliances.
• Safely operate a two-axle delivery truck and comply with vehicle laws in the operating state.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections at start/end of shift and document results.
• Deliver to retail, wholesale and residential customers using hand trucks/equipment.
• Install appliances to completion and ensure code compliance.
• Maintain accuracy on Bill of Ladings and collect customer signatures.
• Report issues via exception forms when installation cannot be completed.
• Provide superior customer service and calmly address upset customers.
• Accept additional duties as assigned by Terminal Manager.
