Job summary

Notre Dame in Benton Harbor, MI, seeks an undergraduate student to contribute to rapid learning cycles and new product development. You will lead a design initiative aligned with your interests and present results to leadership.

You will use project management, guided experiments, and knowledge tools to plan, develop learnings, and collaborate across a global supply chain including electromechanical components, plastics, and electronics.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate enrolled full-time in an engineering or related program.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week (Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm).
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• US work authorization for full-time employment without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Learn Rapid Learning Cycles, NPD, and designing solutions for consumer needs.
• Lead a design/improvement initiative and present results to leadership.
• Use project management, guided experimentation, and knowledge tools to plan and capture learnings.
• Gain exposure to a global supply chain across components and regions.
• Collaborate on innovative projects within a fast-paced, cross-functional team.
