Job summary

CSC ServiceWorks in Charlotte, NC is hiring an Appliance Install Driver to deliver and install laundry equipment within your service area. You will operate a box truck, work weekdays, and engage with clients daily.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver’s license, ability to pass pre-employment screening, and DOT age requirement (21). Physical stamina and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening.
• Must be 21 years of age (DOT state requirement).
• Previous experience driving a box truck preferred.
• Previous experience in appliance repair or a related field is preferred.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers effectively.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to handle and maneuver heavy appliances.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and Install laundry equipment to client locations.
• Deliver and Install ancillary technology (card readers, digital enhancements).
• Drive a box truck to deliver, pick up, or repair/replace washers, dryers and/or air machines.
• Prepare equipment for delivery (assemble required parts prior to loading on trucks).
• Instruct customers and/or clients how to operate equipment in a safe and effective manner.
• Staying physically active loading and unloading your company truck using a 2-wheeled hand cart for support, ease and safety.

Overview

Appliance Install Driver

Monday - Friday 6:00 am - 4:00 pm

Service Area: Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas. Overnight travel - up to 2xs per month, possibly more.

As a CSC Appliance Install Driver your days will be active, delivering and installing laundry equipment to a variety of places in your assigned service area. You’ll have a constant change of scenery, engage with clients and consumers daily, and learn new technology in an environment that supports your success in both your career and life.
