Qualified Staffing in Wake Forest, NC is seeking an Appliance Delivery & Installation Technician for a direct-hire role. You will deliver, install, and remove washers and dryers at residential and commercial properties.

Applicants must be able to move heavy appliances, including stairs, safely, and operate a box truck. A valid driver's license and clean MVR are required. Work is Monday–Friday with occasional overtime; pay is about $21/hour.

Are you experienced in appliance delivery, furniture moving, package handling, or other physically demanding work? We're hiring an Appliance Delivery & Installation Technician for a direct-hire opportunity with an established company in Wake Forest, NC!

This is a hands-on, physically active position involving the delivery, installation, and removal of washers and dryers at customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, install, and remove washers and dryers at residential and commercial properties.

• Safely move heavy appliances up and down stairs using appropriate moving equipment.

• Load and unload trucks and prepare equipment for daily delivery routes.

• Connect, test, and inspect appliances to ensure proper operation.

• Perform minor adjustments or repairs as needed.

• Maintain accurate delivery records and provide professional customer service.

• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain equipment and vehicles.

Requirements

• Experience in appliance delivery, furniture moving, package handling, or similar physically demanding work is essential.

• Must be comfortable performing heavy physical labor daily, including moving appliances up and down stairs.

• Ability to safely maneuver washers and dryers weighing up to 185 lbs. using a hand truck and appropriate moving techniques.

• Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record (MVR) required.

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

• Basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools preferred.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to pass required background and drug screenings.

Box truck driving experience is a significant plus!

Local candidates preferred: Applicants with a reliable commute of approximately 45 minutes or less to Wake Forest are strongly encouraged to apply.
