Job summary

Ferguson is seeking an Installation Associate to deliver, install, and remove a wide variety of appliances in Columbia, SC, in a family-friendly environment with strong work/life balance and full training.

The role involves basic appliance installation, safe handling of gas and electric units, and ensuring installations are accurate and fully functional. You will interact with builders and customers and participate in ongoing training and driver duties as required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of appliance delivery and installation experience preferred.
• Valid state issued license required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to lift 70+ pounds frequently and 90+ pounds occasionally.
• Comfort delivering white-glove service and strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic appliance installation and learn custom installations with training provided.
• Properly install and handle gas and electric appliances (washers, dryers, ranges, refrigerators).
• Ensure installations are damage-free, according to manufacturer specs, and fully functioning.
• Interact professionally with builders, designers, and on-site customers.
• Attend company-paid installation training and stay updated on product changes.
• Assist with driver duties and responsibilities.
