Job summary

Ferguson in Hayward, CA is seeking an Installation Associate to deliver, install and remove appliances in both commercial and residential settings. This role offers a family-friendly environment, full training, and clear career paths.

The position features a Monday–Friday 6:00am–3:00pm schedule with overtime and a starting pay of $25/hour. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, a 401(k) with match, PTO, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 0-3 years of Appliance Delivery & Installation experience preferred.
• Valid state issued license is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one.
• With the assistance of lifting equipment such as stair climber, oven lifts, and/or air sled, the ability to lift 70+ pound objects frequently and 90+ pound objects occasionally.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and deliver basic appliances; training provided.
• Handle gas and electric appliances safely per manufacturer specs.
• Ensure appliances are installed without damage and fully functional.
• Interact with builders, designers and on-site customers professionally.
• Attend training seminars and certifications to stay up-to-date.
• Fulfill driver duties and responsibilities.
