Matt's New & Used Appliances in Lake Charles, LA is hiring a delivery driver to safely operate a box truck and deliver appliances to customers' homes with professionalism. You will load and unload, install when required, complete delivery paperwork accurately, and work closely with the sales and service teams to provide an outstanding customer experience.

A valid driver’s license with a clean record and the ability to lift 75+ pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving a box truck preferred.
• Ability to safely lift and move 75+ pounds regularly.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to commute to or relocate to Lake Charles, LA before start date.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company box truck while following traffic laws and safety standards.
• Deliver appliances to customers’ homes safely, efficiently, and professionally.
• Load, unload, and secure appliances to prevent damage during transport.
• Install appliances when required and verify proper operation before leaving.
• Protect customers’ homes during deliveries with proper equipment and care.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding deliveries and installations.
• Complete delivery paperwork accurately and thoroughly.
• Perform routine inspections and basic care of the company vehicle.
• Work closely with the sales and service teams to provide an outstanding customer experience.
