GE Appliances, a Haier company, invites applications for an Appliance Care Technician in Providence, RI. You will diagnose and repair major appliances in customers’ homes, promote service plans, and operate a company van while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of appliance repair, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or property maintenance experience.
• Ability to diagnose and repair major appliances.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer aptitude; proficiency in Outlook and Teams.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass background check, physical, and drug screen.
• Willingness to obtain CFC certification within 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose and complete in-home repairs on GE Appliances' major appliances.
• Assess repair vs replacement based on cost-effectiveness and customer needs.
• Promote and sell service contracts, water filters, and related products.
• Operate an assigned Bodewell service van to customer locations.
• Document repairs, routes, and work activities accurately.
• Participate in training sessions and team meetings.
• Manage inventory and maintenance of the service vehicle.
• Deliver high-quality service and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Follow safety protocols to protect yourself and others.
