Job summary

Applebee’s Assistant Manager position at Flynn Group is seeking an energetic leader to oversee daily operations and drive guest satisfaction in a fast-paced casual dining environment.

You will manage inventory, scheduling, and costs while recruiting and developing staff, ensuring health and safety standards are met, and maintaining brand quality across all tasks.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of restaurant management experience (casual dining preferred).
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
• Serve Safe Food and Alcohol certifications (a plus).
• Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver timely, friendly service and uphold Applebee’s standards.
• Manage inventory, scheduling, and cost controls.
• Recruit, train, and develop team members.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and health compliance.
• Manage guest feedback and resolve issues promptly.
• Support operational excellence from line checks to paperwork.
• Fill in where needed (cooking, bartending, or greeting guests).
