Job summary

Second Life Mac is seeking versatile seasonal Technical Associates to support end-to-end refurbishment of Apple devices. You will handle software restoration, hardware repair, device evaluation, and final quality assurance to meet resale standards.

Ideal candidates are adaptable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a structured, high-volume production setting focused on quality and efficiency. This role supports our growing buyback operations in the United States.

Qualifications

• Experience in device repair, IT hardware support, electronics, or refurbishment.
• Understanding of Apple hardware and operating systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on Apple devices (MacBooks, iMacs, iPads, etc.).
• Perform component replacements and system repairs.
• Reinstall operating systems, apply firmware updates, and configure devices for use.
• Execute secure data wiping in accordance with company protocols.
• Record repair outcomes, grading results, and inventory usage.
