Job summary

Xcelerate Solutions seeks an Appian Software Developer/Integrator (TS/SCI) to design, develop, deploy, and operate a DoD-wide TCPED OSINT platform. You will work on a mix of on-site at Bethesda, MD with flexible scheduling and some remote tasks.

The role emphasizes Appian integration, containerization, Kubernetes, and data pipeline tooling, alongside Agile practices and strong communication. The team supports mission-focused analytics using cloud-based computing, ML/AI, and cross-domain transfer

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience or Master’s with 6+ years of experience.
Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph ability.
Experience with Appian and containerization.
Development and/or scripting experience, especially Python and Bash.
Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (GitLab or Jenkins).
Experience with Agile practices and strong communication skills.
Self-starter who can work in a team and independently.

Responsibilities

Work with a team to deploy release candidates to production.
Participate in test, staging and production deployment.
Integrate container-based Appian using Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm and other DevOpsSec tools.
Maintain services and a big data pipeline (Kafka, Elasticsearch, Python/Java microservices on Kubernetes).
Monitor automated tests to identify failures.
Manage project priorities, deliverables, and deadlines.
Foster collaboration to deliver quality service and product.
