Job summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking an Appian Software Developer/Integrator to contribute to the design, development, deployment, and operation of a DoD-wide TCPED workflow management platform for OSINT. The role is primarily on-site in Bethesda, MD, with a flexible schedule and occasional remote work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with 8+ years of experience or Master’s with 6+ years.
• Experience with Appian.
• Containerization experience.
• Python and Bash scripting.
• CI/CD tools and practices (GitLab or Jenkins).
• Experience with Agile practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication; team-oriented and self-starting.

Responsibilities

• Deploy release candidates to production with a team of integration engineers.
• Participate in test, staging, and production deployments.
• Integrate Appian with Kubernetes, Rancher, Helm, and related tools.
• Maintain services for a big data pipeline (Kafka, Elasticsearch, Python/Java microservices on Kubernetes).
• Monitor automated integration tests to identify failures.
• Manage project priorities, deliverables, and deadlines.
• Foster collaboration to deliver quality service and products.
