Job summary

Deloitte's GPS Engineering as a Service team is seeking a Software Engineer II to design, build, and deploy Appian-based business processes that support mission objectives. You will translate requirements into scalable workflows and integrate with enterprise data sources and third-party systems in secure environments.

You will participate in Agile delivery, apply development standards, and lead projects or workstreams as needed, in a fast-paced, collaborative setting within the GPS practice in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance.
• 3+ years of experience developing Appian applications.
• 3+ years of experience integrating Appian with data sources, APIs, and third-party services.
• 3+ years of documenting technical solutions, processes, and configurations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and deploy Appian applications that support client mission and operational requirements.
• Translate stakeholder requirements into scalable Appian workflows, interfaces, and process models.
• Integrate Appian applications with enterprise data sources, APIs, and third-party systems in secure environments.
• Participate in Agile delivery activities, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, and release support.
• Apply Appian development standards, reusable components, and performance practices to support maintainability and technical quality.
