Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking Appian Configuration Analysts (Junior Developer/Developer) to join a modernization program for the VA.

You will configure Appian-based solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver user-friendly workflows used by 26,000+ users in a unified Appian platform. The role requires US citizenship, a technical degree or equivalent experience, and strong skills in low-code configuration and BPM.

Qualifications

US Citizen; ability to pass Tier 2 background investigation.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field or 3 additional years of IT experience in lieu of degree.
Junior Developer: 1–3 years in software configuration, business process automation, or low-code development.
Developer: 3–5 years in software configuration, business process automation, or low-code development.
Experience with low-code/no-code platforms or BPM tools.
Knowledge of Federal acquisition lifecycle, contracting processes, or FAR/VAAR is a plus.

Responsibilities

Configure Appian GAM Suite modules: workflows, rules, decision tables, forms, interfaces, UX components.
Collaborate with Appian developers, analysts, SMEs to translate requirements into Appian configurations.
Build reusable Appian components: clause libraries, logic templates, templates for documents.
Develop interfaces, data types, expression rules, and reusable objects.
Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, standups, demos, retrospectives.
Document configuration decisions and technical specs for knowledge transfer.
Optimize Appian performance via best practices and efficient workflow design.
Assist with deployment activities: package prep, environment promotions, release validation.
