Job summary

VivSoft is seeking a highly motivated Appian Developer to support a CJIC project. You will design, develop, maintain, and enhance Appian-based applications and workflows supporting critical criminal justice operations.

A strong Appian background, data analysis, and Agile practices are essential. The role requires an active Secret clearance and at least 3 years as an Application Developer, with experience integrating third-party APIs and implementing secure software development practices.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance is required.
• 3+ years of experience as an Application Developer.
• Strong hands-on experience with the Appian platform.
• Appian Developer Certification is preferred.
• Experience integrating third-party APIs and building workflow automation.
• Knowledge of secure software development practices.
• Experience in Agile development environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate wireframes/UI designs into Appian components.
• Develop and maintain Appian CJIM portal workflows.
• Integrate third-party APIs and provide sustainment support.
• Implement security best practices and AFOSI compliance.
• Conduct unit testing and support QA to fix defects.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint activities.
• Analyze data and prepare recurring/ad hoc reports.
• Prepare responses for Congressional inquiries/FOIA requests.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Support modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.
