Job summary

Groundswell is seeking experienced Appian consultants to provide integrated architecture support for delivery teams and act as trusted advisors to clients. Architects mentor delivery teams on best practices for advanced technical solutions and platform design, while implementing internal processes and tools to boost efficiency.

Responsibilities include guiding architecture design, iteration with client teams, ensuring scalable solutions, and documenting best practices.

Qualifications

6+ years of experience with Appian solutions
6+ years of related IT experience
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Engineering, or related area
Active Appian Lead Certification
Strong experience with Agile delivery
Strong technical implementation skills
Strong database design and development skills
Experience evaluating and resolving issues found during system security testing
Experience with Appian Cloud configuration and support processes
Experience implementing Cloud, On-Premises, and Hybrid platform deployments
Experience in network infrastructure concepts and troubleshooting techniques
Strong communication skills and ability to convey complex concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing
Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preference for candidates local to the DC Metro area
U.S. Citizen required
Travel 0-15% to client meetings in Washington, DC area and Dallas, TX

Responsibilities

Guide clients on architecture design, integration, scalability, configuration management, DevSecOps, and other program initiatives
Collaborate with client enterprise architecture teams to design and deliver solutions
Guide implementation teams through complex technical solutions with Appian and related technologies
Ensure solutions are built for scale and performance
Integrate multi-tier architecture through integrations and system configuration
Evaluate emerging or incumbent technologies for value and fit
Create and document implementation best practices and knowledge base articles
Provide thought leadership on process improvement
Support internal solutions, infrastructure, and tools
Mentorship, training, and enablement of resources
