Qualifications

• Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Graduated from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active New York State Bar membership or in process of admission.

Responsibilities

• Handle appeals in the Appeals Division, briefing and arguing before federal and state appellate courts.
• Work independently and with supervisors, client agencies, and staff to manage a substantial appellate docket.
• Contribute to high-level appellate practice shaping city policy and public interests.
