Qualifications

Basic knowledge of the principles and practices of administrative law.
Ability to interpret laws, rules, regulations, and court decisions.

Responsibilities

Preside over quasi-judicial evidentiary hearings on contested UI claims, UI fraud, and relief of UI benefit charges.
Provide hearing parties, witnesses and authorized legal representatives a full, fair and complete hearing and render decisions.
Apply relevant law to the facts found and ensure professional, knowledgeable customer service to participants.
