Job summary

American Society of Interior Designers, Inc is seeking a hands-on Technical Designer to translate garment concepts into production-ready products, collaborating closely with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, Sourcing and Manufacturing.

You will own fit, construction, and quality across styles, create and manage Tech Packs, lead fit sessions, and coordinate with factories to resolve technical issues while upholding brand standards on sizing and fabric behavior.

Qualifications

• Experience in apparel technical design and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to create and manage Tech Packs with detailed construction data.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, grading, and fabric behavior.

Responsibilities

• Manage fit, construction, and quality across products and sizes.
• Create and maintain Tech Packs with measurements, construction details, stitching, trims, and sewing requirements.
• Lead fit sessions with fit models and resolve any fit issues.
• Review and approve samples before production.
• Coordinate with factories and vendors to resolve technical and production issues.
