Job summary

QVC is seeking a Tech Designer to create Technical Product Development Packets for all apparel categories and ensure fit meets graded specs across brands. Hybrid role onsite at Studio Park in West Chester, PA with relocation assistance.

You will develop tech packs in PLM, lead fittings, and guide the product lifecycle from concept to production while maintaining brand fit standards and collaborating with designers, merchants, and vendors.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in fashion design or related program.
6-8 years industry experience in Technical Design.
Understanding of Technical Design process and product construction.
Knowledge of sourcing, development and marketing of product.
Proficiency in PLM system.

Responsibilities

Product Development: Attend development meetings with designers/merchants and vendors to understand vision/concept and provide technical guidance and direction.
Build detailed tech packs in PLM using designer sketches, BOM and construction details to create garments; attend proto fittings and update changes.
Support product lifecycle from concept through final production approval.
Maintain fit consistency across brands; develop and utilize blocks/patterns to ensure best fit and efficient production.
Lead all fit sessions; weekly garment fittings, pattern adjustments, and analysis against tech pack requirements.
