Job summary

QVC Group, Inc. is seeking an Associate Technical Designer to support Technical Design across woven, knits and outerwear brands. This hybrid role requires onsite presence at our West Chester, PA location several days per week.

You will manage fit, construction, and specs, develop pattern blocks, coordinate with vendors, and ensure deadlines are met. The ideal candidate has a fashion design degree and 2–3 years in technical design or patternmaking.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in fashion design or related program.
Minimum 2–3 years of industry experience in Technical Design or Patternmaking.
Knowledge of product development cycle, fit, and construction.

Responsibilities

Support Technical Design team and collaborate with partners on aesthetics, fit intent, specs, pattern, construction methods.
Establish pattern blocks to maintain fit consistency.
Communicate with vendors/factories to create garments and corrections/approvals.
Evaluate garment compliance with spec, construction, fit intent, and aesthetic.
Participate in fit sessions on live models and mannequins.
Meet deadlines and support the T&A calendar objectives.
Collaborate with design, sourcing, merchandising, QA, and vendors.
Manage workload for own brands.
