Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods in the United States is seeking a Teammate – Apparel to deliver exceptional customer service, help athletes find the right apparel for performance and everyday life, and contribute to a team-first environment on the sales floor.

You will greet customers, uphold merchandising standards, promote loyalty programs, and work to create an inclusive, welcoming store where everyone feels supported and empowered from day one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and athletes and proactively approach athletes to understand their needs and support their shopping experience by providing helpful, accurate product knowledge and customer service.
• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by following established floor sets, signage requirements, price changes, inventory presentation and replenishment standards, etc.
• Promote company programs (i.e., customer loyalty program participation, warranty sales, private label credit card enrollment, etc.).
• Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures, as well as to laws and guidelines of external governing entities, including those of the Federal ATF.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (Teammates & Athletes) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
