DICK'S Sporting Goods is seeking a Team Captain – Apparel to lead the Apparel department and coach teammates to deliver engaging shopping experiences. You will drive sales, build schedules, and oversee daily operations to meet store goals while ensuring compliance with policies and safety standards.

Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years of retail or customer-facing experience and a passion for sports. Previous people leadership is preferred. This is a full-time in-store role in Daly City, CA.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail environment with customer interaction.
• Leadership experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Apparel department and coach teammates to deliver engaging shopping experiences.
• Drive sales, set schedules, and manage daily operations to meet store goals.
• Oversee opening/closing procedures and frontline staff activities.
• Communicate goals and plans to the team and adjust workload as needed.
• Ensure policies, safety, and loss prevention guidelines are followed.
