Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Oklahoma City is seeking an Apparel Processing Outfitter to manage the processing of apparel shipments from receipt to stocking on the sales floor. You will use the inventory system, follow visual merchandising standards and maintain backstock and signage.

Responsibilities

• Process apparel merchandise at receipt according to Visual Merchandising & MPS Standards and inventory system.
• Replenish merchandise to the sales floor per Visual Merchandising Standards.
• Assist with pricing maintenance and signage.
• Unload trucks as needed.
• Maintain organized backstock and supply area.
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Job description

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Apparel Processing Outfitter is responsible for the overall processing of all apparel merchandise shipments from receipt of goods to stocking on Sales Floor & Receiving.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Effectively processes all apparel merchandise at time of receipt, adhering to all Visual Merchandising & MPS Standards, and utilizing the inventory management system. 50%
• Systematically replenishes merchandise to the sales floor as required per the Visual Merchandising Standards utilizing the inventory management system. 10%
• Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales to promote effective backroom organization and replenishment. 10%
• Unloads trucks as needed. 10%
• Assists with pricing maintenance and signage of merchandise. 5%
• Keeps work area clean, neat, organized and well stocked with supplies. 5%
• Ensure backstock merchandise remains organized and accessible. 5%
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service and ensures a pleasant shopping experience for all guests. 5%
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

• Ability to use company computer systems and devices such as System Two, RF/Gizmo devices & Point of Sale register system.
• Ability to process and organize information to include plan-o-grams, visual guides & merchandising standards.
• Ability to review replenishment reporting to organize merchandise to fill the sales floor.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other outfitters.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers.

Regularly walks, stands, and does computer work.
Occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs.
Seldom/Never sits.
