Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking an Apparel Processing Outfitter to manage the end-to-end processing of apparel shipments from receipt to stocking on the Sales Floor and Receiving.

This part-time role emphasizes accurate merchandise handling, replenishment to the floor, price signage, and maintaining organized backstock, while delivering friendly customer service and supporting store operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 0+ years of experience is acceptable; training provided.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Process apparel shipments from receipt to stocking.
• Replenish merchandise to the sales floor per standards.
• Stay informed about ads to assist backroom organization.
• Unload trucks as needed.
• Assist with pricing maintenance and signage.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and stocked.
• Maintain organized backstock for accessibility.
• Deliver friendly customer service to guests.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Apparel Processing Outfitter is responsible for the overall processing of all apparel merchandise shipments from receipt of goods to stocking on Sales Floor & Receiving.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Effectively processes all apparel merchandise at time of receipt, adhering to all Visual Merchandising & MPS Standards, and utilizing the inventory management system. 50%
• Systematically replenishes merchandise to the sales floor as required per the Visual Merchandising Standards utilizing the inventory management system. 10%
• Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales to promote effective backroom organization and replenishment. 10%
• Unloads trucks as needed. 10%
• Assists with pricing maintenance and signage of merchandise. 5%
• Keeps work area clean, neat, organized and well stocked with supplies. 5%
• Ensure backstock merchandise remains organized and accessible. 5%
• Demonstrates exceptional customer service and ensures a pleasant shopping experience for all guests. 5%
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Preferred Degree: High School Diploma or Equivalent

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

• Ability to use company computer systems and devices such as System Two, RF/Gizmo devices & Point of Sale register system.
• Ability to process and organize information to include plan-o-grams, visual guides & merchandising standards.
• Ability to review replenishment reporting to organize merchandise to fill the sales floor.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other outfitters.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers.

Regularly walks, stands, and does computer work.
