Job summary

Kroger is seeking a friendly, customer-focused associate to create outstanding experiences on the sales floor. You will answer questions, stock and label merchandise, observe safety guidelines and help maintain a clean, welcoming department.

You will gain product knowledge, support merchandising initiatives, and reinforce store policies while working with the department manager to meet sales goals and provide reliable service to every customer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Must be able to meet the minimum physical demands of the position.
• Knowledge of basic math: counting, addition, and subtraction.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Second language: speaking, reading and/or writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals.
• Answer questions regarding products and assist customers to feel welcomed.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Observe scheduled shift operating hours and follow safety rules.
• Maintain a clean, orderly department and uphold company policies.
