Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods in Latham, NY seeks a Key Carrying Lead to drive store performance and teammate engagement. You will act as the in-store expert, delivering excellent service, upholding brand standards, and guiding associates under the guidance of the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager.

Lead by example, coach teams, manage daily game plans, and ensure safety, loss prevention, and operational processes are followed.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior retail sales or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Able to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push/pull and lift 15–35 lbs repeatedly.
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods (up to 4 hours).
• Able to work at heights greater than 4 feet with ladder/erial devices.
• Able to perform repetitive motions for short periods (up to 2 hours).

Responsibilities

• Support interviewing and department tours to help build a strong team.
• Lead by example to deliver brand standards and customer service.
• Coordinate daily operations with guidance from store leadership.
• Maintain loss prevention and safety standards.
• Train teammates on procedures and onboarding cross-training.
