Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED plus a minimum of six months Fred Meyer experience and one to two years related retail experience, or relevant education and experience.
  • Minimum 18 years of age (19 in Alaska).
  • Ability to pass a drug test.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work weekends and nights regularly.
  • Ability to travel independently on rare occasions.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes.
  • Ability to work within set time frames and deadlines.
  • Ability to continue education.
  • Valid driver's license.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Knowledge of Fred Meyer policies, procedures, and organizational structure.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, RMDS, and company email.
  • Experience leading or participating in project teams.
  • Working knowledge of alarms, sprinklers, and printers.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Selling products and performing cashier functions.
  • Maintaining compliance with signing, merchandising, and safety standards.
  • Verifying ads, processing mail, and maintaining RMS procedures.
  • Participating in shrink control and EAS standards.
  • Monitoring stock levels, follow-up, and sales.
  • Responding to customer comments and complaints.
  • Completing incident reports and processing salvage and donations.
  • Accessing online sales information and processing transfers.
  • Promoting company initiatives and managing common associate areas.
  • Performing essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
