Job summary

Lakeshirts in Detroit Lakes, MN, seeks a quality-control focused team member to monitor garments, inspect inks/colors, logos and labels, and ensure flawless production. You will read work orders, communicate with teammates when garments are imperfect, and prepare orders for shipping.

Typical day includes inspecting, sorting, folding, counting, organizing, maintaining a clean workspace, and following OSHA safety practices.

Qualifications

High school education, desirable.
Basic computer experience required—Excel, Word, Tablet.
Ability to work well in a team.
Must be reliable, responsible and take direction well.
Must be able to perform repetitive tasks for several hours.
Ability to stand for 8–10 hours a day.

Responsibilities

Inspect all garments for correct ink colors, proper logo placement, labels and general flaws.
Maintain Lakeshirts acceptable standard of quality per garment.
Sort, count and fold garments by size/color/garment style and prepare them for shipping.
Read and understand work orders and profiles to ensure each account is processed correctly.
Keep work area clean and orderly.
Follow safety practices and address safety issues per OSHA.
Teamwork and other duties as assigned.
