Job summary

Carter’s, Inc. is seeking an Auditor, Quality Assurance to help ensure product quality before shipment. The role involves performing audits on incoming shipments, documenting findings, and maintaining QA records.

You will work with the QA team to uphold Carter’s safety standards and defect classifications. The position requires strong attention to detail, ability to read measuring tapes, and the capacity to lift up to 50 pounds and operate a pallet jack.

Qualifications

• Experience reading and interpreting a measuring tape.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Good color perception (color tests may be given).
• Strong mathematical skills and ability to perform basic calculations.

Responsibilities

• Perform random audits of incoming shipments, evaluating workmanship, packaging/labeling, shading, product integrity and measurements.
• Accurately document audit findings and maintain records of non-conforming products in QA database.
• Conduct metal and neck stretch audits to ensure conformity to guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of Carter’s safety manual and defect classifications through ongoing training.
• Locate pallets using RF scanner.
• Assist with quality-related projects as assigned by QA Supervisor or Coordinator.
