Job summary

The Children’s Place in Fort Payne, Alabama seeks a QA Auditor/ Clerk to uphold SOPs in QA and Inventory and to liaise with the corporate office to resolve issues. You will review labeling, packing, and pricing information; perform Cubiscan measurements; audit shipments for conformance and vendor performance; inspect merchandise for quality; enter data into multiple systems; and support QA rework projects.

This role requires physical effort and attention to detail in a fast-paced distribution

Qualifications

• Review labeling, description, packing, ticketing, and pricing information.
• Measure weight and carton dimensions using Cubiscan.
• Audit shipments for conformance to instructions and vendor performance.
• Inspect merchandise for quality visually and functionally.
• Enter data into multiple computer systems and complete paperwork.
• Back up Administrative Clerk as needed.
• Communicate QA issues to the QA lead.
• Verify inventory and support special projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist with QA rework projects as assigned.
• Communicate with QA lead on all QA and vendor performance issues.
• Verify inventory.
• Set up process flow for special projects.
• Communicate Store transfers and damages to appropriate work groups.
• Responsible for Ecommerce supply orders.
• Back Up Administrative Clerk as needed

Job Summary

QA Auditor/ Clerk is expected to carry out the standards set forth in the corresponding Standard Operating Procedures for the QA area and Inventory areas. The coordinator will be a liaison to corporate office resolving issues.

Responsibilities

• Review computer system for labeling, description, packing, packaging, ticketing and pricing information
• Systematically measure weight and carton dimensions as required using Cubiscan process
• Audit each shipment for conformance to shipping and routing instructions and vendor performance compliance
• Audit product for quality-visual and functional inspection of merchandise
• Data entry and recording information- completing applicable paperwork and entering required data into multiple computer systems
• Releasing acceptable shipments
• Ensure all boxes are marked and taped prior once audit is completed
• Assist with QA rework projects as assigned
• Communicate with QA lead on all QA and vendor performance issues
• Verify inventory
• Set up process flow for special projects
• Communicate Store transfers and damages to appropriate work groups
• Responsible for Ecommerce supply orders
• Back Up Administrative Clerk as needed

Establishes and maintains good rapport throughout the department. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, sit and, reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus. Frequent use of computer for basic inquiries and updating warehouse management system.
