Job summary

Qualifications

• Six to twelve months of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts, including proportions, percentages, and volumes.
• Ability to communicate effectively with groups of workers or employees.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily production quotas are met.
• Move personnel to areas needing help and sew when vacant.
• Motivate sewers to meet production goals and keep materials flowing.
• Notify supervisor of defects and report production and mechanical issues.
• Attend required training and maintain excellent attendance.
• Maintain ISO9001 and Quality Management System requirements.
• Promote teamwork and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
• Train and coach workers as needed.
