Majesty Brands in New York City is seeking a detail-oriented Production Assistant to support the Apparel Production team with daily administrative tasks, trackers, sample coordination, and documentation updates. This hands-on role interacts with internal teams and overseas factories to keep production moving.

The ideal candidate is organized, proficient in Excel, and eager to learn apparel production processes across categories such as apparel, intimates, sleepwear, and loungewear.

Formación

• 1–3 years in apparel production or related field preferred.
• Experience with production calendars, purchase orders, samples and factory workflows.
• Proficient in Excel for tracking data and organizing reports.
• Familiarity with overseas factories is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Production team with daily administrative tasks, production coordination, and follow-up with overseas factories and vendors.
• Maintain and update Work-in-Progress (WIP) reports, production trackers, and status reports.
• Monitor Time and Action calendars, track milestones, and flag deadlines or delays.
• Track production samples, approvals, and submissions, ensuring timely updates.
• Prepare, organize, and update purchase orders, costing sheets, and production documentation.
• Support revisions to production tech packs, including basic updates to artwork and specs.
• Follow up with factories regarding sample status, production schedules, shipping dates, and outstanding information.
• Maintain organized production records, style information, approvals, and vendor correspondence.
• Identify missing information or discrepancies and escalate concerns to the team.
• Coordinate with Design, Product Development, Sales, and Operations to support timelines.
• Prepare updates and materials for weekly production meetings.
• Provide general administrative and operational support to ensure efficient production workflows.
