Job summary

The North Face, a VF Corporation brand, seeks a Product Developer, Apparel to own end-to-end development of mid-to-high complexity styles, ensuring design intent, quality, cost, and calendar targets while partnering with global teams and vendors.

You will translate concepts with design into 3D and physical prototypes, own BOMs and specs, guide cross-functional teams through proto reviews, and travel seasonally to overseas manufacturers.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Apparel Product Development.
• Degree in Product Development, Apparel Design, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with Patternmaking and grading.
• Strong English verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of apparel development processes, sourcing and manufacturing.
• Ability to manage multiple timelines and deadlines.
• Experience with BOMs, specs and tech packs in PLM/PDM systems.
• Experience with 3D programs (Browzwear, Clo, Optitex).
• Agility under pressure and adaptability to change.
• Innovation mindset and passion for products.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end development of assigned styles from concept to production.
• Partner with design to translate aesthetics into 3D and physical samples.
• Publish and maintain BOMs, specs, tech packs, and related records.
• Lead cross-functional reviews at each proto stage.
• Collaborate with global teams and vendors on cost targets and quality.
• Travel seasonally to overseas manufacturers to support production readiness.
