Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio is seeking an Apparel Processor in Brook Park, OH. You will sort, hang, and tag donated apparel and domestics, ensuring quality standards and friendly customer service.

You’ll work to meet production targets, stay aware of brand names and trends, and uphold safety and agency policies. Benefits include daily pay, retirement matching, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Good people skills
• Able to identify different shades and tones of color
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Computer experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Stay knowledgeable of brand names, current and vintage items, fashion trends, and price points for apparel and domestic categories.
• Sorts apparel into salable and salvage categories. Provides quality assurance by checking for tears, stains, wetness, smell, soil, broken zippers, and missing buttons. Items must be flaw-free.
• Hangs and tags quality donations quickly, according to agency standards, while meeting or exceeding individual production targets.
• Always maintain the processing area in a neat and clean condition. The station should always be ready for the next shift.
• Embodies DGR (Donated Goods Retail) MODE Guiding Principles.
• Follows all agency safety policies and guidelines. Actively participates with supervisor and team members to address identified safety concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.
