Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to be flexible and work mornings, afternoons, evenings, and nights as the work demands.
• Willing and available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to make intelligent decisions quickly.
• Able to tactfully and calmly handle stressful situations and make a positive impression on associates and customers.
• Possess abilities and skills for effective production, merchandising, and customer services related to sale of merchandise.
• Qualified and able to operate power machinery and work with various job tools, (Pallet jack, Forklift, compactors, box cutters, label guns, etc.)
• Related retail work experience.
• Familiarity with apparel sales terms and processes.
• Past work record reflects dependability and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates compliance with customer service actions and policies.
• Stock displays with new or back-stock merchandise and manage signage.
• Coordinate and organize merchandising of the section.
• Maintain on-hand inventory and RMS updates as needed.
• Build and maintain vendor relationships.
• Receive and process freight; perform inventory control functions.
• Ensure ads and promotions are set to standard and process returns/exchanges.
• Conduct stock counts and manage displays and ends.
• Respond to customer comments/complaints and assist in inventory processes.
• Perform cashier functions when required and handle mail.
