Goodwill Industries of the Valleys in Salem, VA is looking for a store associate to support apparel processing and merchandising. Under the Store Manager, you will tag, size, and hang apparel on racks, ensuring donor and customer interactions meet world-class service standards.

The role emphasizes quality control, efficiency (60+ pieces per hour), safety, and adherence to policies while contributing to training opportunities and store profitability.

Responsabilités

• Tag and size apparel and/or hang apparel onto racks by category.
• Assist with quality control assurance (tears, stains, wet, smelly, soiled, broken zippers, and missing buttons).
• Maintain accurate count with the goal of 60+ pieces per hour.
• Keep processing area neat and clean.
• Provide world class customer service to donors and customers.
• Follow DURT procedures and DURT Alert system for donor interactions.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety procedures.
• Attend in-service training and perform other duties as assigned.
