Job summary

Daydreamer Los Angeles is seeking a Designer Merchandiser to lead the full design and development process from concept to execution. You will collaborate with the Design Director and VP of Brand and Design, bringing a fresh point of view while working independently and multitasking across multiple projects.

The role emphasizes sourcing fabrics, developing designs, CAD graphics, and creating tech packs with accurate costing to support collections and presentations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of design and merchandising experience.
• 3-5 years experience with domestic garment dye knits.
• 3-5 years experience CADing graphic tees.

Responsibilities

• Source and test new fabrics, washes, prints, embellishments.
• Develop and spec new designs for patterning.
• Maintain organization of fabric, styles, fits.
• Work with management on executing the design plan.
• Collaborate with graphic designers.

The Designer Merchandiser will be responsible for all aspects of the design and development process. From concept to design, planning and execution you will be responsible for creating product. You will work with the Design Director and VP of Brand and Design.
