• Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals for the department.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return.
• Answer questions about products and respond to customer inquiries.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report product ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Adhere to local, state and federal health and civil codes.
• Promote sales through announcements and merchandising.
• Ensure all merchandising, cash control, labor control, safety and loss prevention rules are followed.
• Observe scheduled shift operating hours and complete paperwork per policy.
