Job summary

Campbell Clinic seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant (FT40) to join our Bristol, TN team. The position supports patient care, handles daily documentation and participates in continuing education to maintain licensure.

Qualified candidates hold an Associate's Degree (or PTA program) and TN licensure, with outpatient experience preferred. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered and a comprehensive benefit package is available.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program preferred.
  • Minimum of an Associate’s Degree required; previous outpatient experience preferred.
  • Must be licensed as a physical therapy assistant in Tennessee.

Responsibilities

DIMENSIONS/SCOPE OF POSITION: Treats patients and delegates appropriate patient care tasks to technician staff.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Treats patients in a safe manner
  • Completes daily billing and documentation for each patient
  • Modifies home exercise program as needed
  • Completes required continuing education to maintain state licensure
  • Regular and predictable attendance
  • Ability to work in a cooperative manner with others
  • Performs other duties as assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Not applicable.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience: Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program preferred. Minimum of an Associate’s Degree required; previous experience in the outpatient setting is preferred.

Computer Skills: Must be computer literate. Basic computer skills required.

Certificates, Licenses: Must be licensed as a physical therapy assistant in the state of Tennessee, depending on the assigned work location.
