Job summary

Apple seeks a Manager to lead a program management team for App Store capabilities, including security and regulatory tasks. You will oversee multiple concurrent programs, define requirements, and drive cross-functional collaboration with engineering, analytics, marketing, and partner teams to deliver high-impact initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of software/product management, strong leadership, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of software, assignment, or product management in software development.
• Strong people management abilities, including education, mentoring and effective feedback
• Experience with frameworks or developer centered products from kick-off to ship
• Approached product control from a user’s viewpoint and is motivated by the opportunity to improve users’ lives
• Built products by collaborating across engineering, analytics, marketing, design and other key stakeholders
• Robust strategic questioning, problem solving, and logical structuring abilities
• Ability to turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into strong action plans
• Desire to tackle complex and impactful product & business problems
• Strong communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) to all levels of an organization
• Strong facilitation skills (requirements gathering, design meetings, progress and status reviews)
• Strong technical proficiency in software architecture and development

Responsibilities

• Lead a program management group responsible for App Store capabilities, including security and regulatory projects.
• Drive and deliver large, multi-functional projects and oversee several concurrent programs including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Define business, functional, and reporting requirements (often drafting them yourself).
• Play a role in improving how initiatives are run and completed within the team.
• Own end-to-end mission timelines, including development within the Apple Media products group and other Apple divisions, plus backend reporting structures.
