Pinnacle Health Medical Group of UPMC Central Pennsylvania is hiring a Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider Program Manager to oversee APP activities within the Central Pennsylvania (CPA) Primary Care Service Line for UPMC. Location: 3 Walnut Street, Lemoyne PA 17043.

Hours: M-F daylight. The ideal candidate will balance administrative and clinical responsibilities, directing orientation, training, recruitment, performance management, and initiatives for continuing education, provider retention,

Responsibilities

• Develop UPMC Pinnacle APP initiatives and programming to strengthen the role of APPs within the organization in collaboration with clinical and administrative leadership.
• Assist in developing and managing focused management, compensation, recruitment and retention programs for APPs.
• Direct and motivate clinical and administrative staff to support and execute upon goals defined by executive leadership for APP programs.
• Establish and maintain policies and procedures defining APP and physician collaborators/supervisor activities and responsibilities.
• Work with leadership to standardize privileging and scope of practice for APPs.
• Communicate strategy and issues regarding APPs with leadership and senior executives.
• Collaborate with the Chief Advanced Practice Officer to standardize APP approaches across UPMC.
• Support programming and research to evaluate APP roles in innovative health care delivery models.
• Coordinate continuing education, student placement, and practice standards for APPs with the Learning Institute.
• Monitor performance indicators related to APPs and analyze developments in APP disciplines for strategic decisions.
• Represent UPMC Pinnacle to external bodies on APP initiatives and priorities.
• Other duties as assigned.
