We’re looking for talented individuals that are user obsessed and care about driving business value to innovative consumer apps. As an app performance marketing analyst at Valid, you’ll play a key role in developing and scaling our clients app’s growth in the US and international markets, working with VC-backed apps to take their user acquisition efforts to the next level.
Responsibilities:
- Own performance marketing account management for app clients.
- Confidently execute media planning across paid social (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat) and paid search (ASA, Google UAC) app channels.
- Orchestrate creative production and manage the end-to-end flow until assets are launched in ad accounts.
- Own, ideate and iterate on creative testing frameworks that are tailored to each app’s context & product.
- Engage in constant internal & external communication to effectively collaborate with cross-functional internal teams and present campaign performance reports to external client stakeholders.
- Utilize strong analytical skills to analyze and interpret campaign data, deriving actionable insights to improve performance.
- Continuously be involved in app growth marketing discussions on concepts like LTV/CAC, payback periods, MRR/ARR, run rates & more.
- Use MMPs and other analytics dashboards for reporting, working alongside the Valid product team for data management best practices.
- Conduct A/B & multivariate testing to improve performance and generate insights.
Required Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of growth marketing experience or user acquisition.
- 1-2 years of app performance marketing experience, mostly paid social user acquisition. This will be tested.
- Have proven experience working with MMPs such as AppsFlyer, Adjust, Singular, Branch, Kochava or AirBridge.
- Experience in iOS app attribution, well versed in SKAdNetwork, ATT, probabilistic attribution and it’s implications on app user acquisition. This will be tested.
- Strong familiarity with app-specific paid media campaigns like Meta AEM, TikTok ADC and Google UAC.
- You have a proven track record of launching, managing, and optimizing iOS app campaigns that drive key metrics like CPA, ROAS, and LTV.
- Ability to multitask & wear many hats, prioritize workload effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic & fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry Expertise: Proactively educates oneself on industry findings and updates. Effectively shares findings with broader team.
- Experience working with consumer subscription apps.
- Experience working with consumer subscription apps on a freemium model.
- Experience or familiarity with user onboarding flows and paywall testing.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changes in paid social media platforms and algorithms, iOS.
